Quote collateral, MEV protection & priority settings

Before you confirm, a few settings affect execution: the quote token you post, MEV protection, and slippage.

Note: MEV protection routes through Astralane and adds a tip on swap-bearing actions. A standalone, MEV-independent priority fee is a requested feature — not yet live.

1. Choose your quote token (USDC or WSOL) — this denominates your loan and margin.
2. Open Trading Settings to review MEV protection and slippage.
3. With MEV protection on, a priority tip is added on swap actions to help the tx land and avoid sandwiching. Turning MEV off removes that tip.
4. Set slippage for volatile/thin pairs.
5. Confirm with the settings you want.

Tip: leave MEV protection on for swap-bearing actions on volatile tokens; raise slippage slightly if a trade keeps failing to land.

Example — opening a volatile memecoin long: keep MEV protection on and nudge slippage up so the swap lands without being sandwiched.
