How to Open a SHORT
Going short means you profit if the price falls. You borrow the token, sell it, and buy it back cheaper.
Note: available on supported tokens. Some pairs are LONG-only — no Short offer = no Short quote.
- Search your token and select the Short tab.
- Pick quote (USDC or WSOL) and enter margin.
- Set leverage. Liq price sits above entry on a short.
- Review entry, size, liq, fee, interest.
- Confirm.
- The short appears in your positions table.
Tip: on a short you reduce/close with Partial Buy (you're buying the token back), not Sell.
Example — GOOGLx/USDC, 2x, 10 USDC: ~$20 short. A −10% move ≈ +$2 (~20% on margin). Liq ~45% above entry at 2x.
Recap: Short → quote + margin → leverage → confirm. Liq above entry; close with Partial Buy.
